We currently provide monetary assistance for rent and utilities. Working with individuals and families who have utility shut off or eviction notices. In addition we aid clients by referring them to other agencies for additional help and Spiritual counseling. We also maintain a supply of personal care items, ON WEDNESDAY ONLY which are given free of charge to clients. In addition, our office maintains a database of clients who have received help from us directly, or from a coalition member who reports this information to us. Ozark Family Ministries offers marriage counseling designed to meet the needs of each individual couple, whether it's pre-marital counseling for those contemplating marriage, counseling for those in good marriages who want to strengthen the bond even more, or counseling for marriages in danger of failing. We want to help families create a home that is an island of safety where relationship needs are met. OFM offers counseling to adolescents that are faced with many different issues: Parent-teen relationships, depression, stress, eating disorders, addictions, adolescent sexuality, divorce and broken families, and emotional difficulties as evidenced by rage, guilt, and anxiety. Children's counseling needs are very unique and require a careful approach. OFM is dedicated to helping these hurting children and their families through play therapy, family counseling, and parenting seminars. Other subjects dealt with at OFM are: Sexual Disorders in Married Couples, Child Sexual Abuse, Sexual Addictions, Grief and Loss Counseling, and Anxiety Disorders and Depression. Operation Angel is a healing ministry for parents who have lost a child through miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, or stillbirth. Financial Asistance: Tuesday,Wednesday and Friday Assistance provided by the salvation Army includes,but is not limited to,utility assistance(gas,water,electric),rent assistance,food and clothing assistance.On a limited basis,The salvation Army may assist with (overnight shelter(through a hotel),fuel assistance( for medical reasons),and bus tickets.The Salvation Army conducts seasonal assistance programs during Christmas and Back to School season,as well as sending kids to summer camp.
