Description of Organizations Services:
Twin Lakes literacy council provides free tutoring to adults and children in Baxter County. Students can improve their reading, math, English or computer skills. Lessons are free with a schedule arranged by the tutor and student. Twin Lakes literacy Council provides books and tutor training. Volunteer tutors are always needed! Description of Organizations Services:
Free music lessons for local children whose parents meet Federal and Arkansas State poverty guidelines. The Foundation will provide up to 48 individual lessons per year. The Foundation will fund only one child per family. Family qualifying status is reviewed annually. Description of Organizations Services:
The United Ostomy Association, of which we are a chapter, is a volunteer based health organization dedicated to assisting people who have had, or will have, intestinal or urinary diversions, by means of: Education/Informational lectures by local physicians and other health care providers; Rehabilitation/Talks by organizations interested in improving the quality of life; Health care providers exhibiting the latest innovations in products and services; and Moral Support and Mutual Aid/Round Table discussions among members citing successes and failures in ostomate care.
